Blood centers and hospitals experience a decline in blood donation during winter and summer. Nevertheless, the need for blood is constant. The seasonal decline is due to various reasons, including traveling, illnesses, accidents, or unfavorable weather conditions. Even regular donors become busy with summer activities, and largely populated places like schools are on break in the summer months. Ultimately, when someone needs blood, someone has to donate it.
