On October 22, 2012, the International WeLoveU Foundation cheered on the participants in the Avon Breast Cancer walk, with the goal of sharing love and bringing smiles to those affected by the illness. Sharing laughter and love to those affected by cancer directly and indirectly has the power to unite communities and give hope.
There are more than 100 types of cancer and any part of the body can be affected. In 2008 alone, 7.6 million people died of cancer accounting for more than 13.6% of all deaths worldwide. Today, breast cancer is one of the most serious forms of cancer affecting women and causing the largest number of deaths.
